This Electric Metering Engineer role is built for experts who know their way around AMR, CT, LV, and HV metering. You’ll be installing, maintaining, and restoring communication systems across a range of business-critical environments — often on high-profile client sites. Key Responsibilities
- Install and maintain AMR, Half-Hourly, CT, LV, and HV meters
- Conduct communications testing and resolve connectivity issues
- Retrieve critical metering data from I&C sites
- Own the customer experience at every site visit
- Complete all work to Health & Safety and compliance standards
- Collaborate with support teams to ensure smooth delivery
- Manage and maintain tools, stock, and documentation
What We’re Looking For
- EUSR registration up to Three Phase Whole Current is essential
- Experience in I&C or AMR metering is highly desirable
- Strong working knowledge of CT/LV or CT/HV installations
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Confident working independently across business sites
- Competent with digital platforms and handheld technology
Bonus Qualifications (not essential but desirable):
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- City & Guilds Electrical qualifications
