Were recruiting for an
Electrical Project Engineer
to join a growing engineering and energy business working across
power generation, renewable energy, HV/LV systems and process control . Were equally interested in ambitious Electrical Project Engineers with strong technical foundations and solid project experience who are ready to step up.
Youll be given the tools and support to develop, including the opportunity to progress towards Chartered Engineer status, but youll also be trusted to work autonomously, take ownership and drive your projects forward.
A Genuine Cradle-to-Grave Engineering Role
Youll be involved throughout the complete project lifecycle, from initial feasibility and technical assessment through to: Electrical design and engineering HV and LV systems Project development Grid-connected and power generation projects Process control and SCADA Project delivery and technical oversight Site-based engineering Testing and commissioning Troubleshooting and optimisation Operational handover Client, supplier and stakeholder engagement
This is not a narrow desk-based design position. Youll have the opportunity to see projects through from early concept to successful operation and take genuine ownership along the way.
The Projects
Youll work across the growing sustainable energy and power generation sector, with projects potentially including: Energy from Waste / EfW Anaerobic Digestion / AD Battery Energy Storage / BESS Energy Storage Carbon Capture Grid-scale power systems Industrial energy projects
What Were Looking For
Wed like to hear from experienced: Electrical Project Engineers Senior Electrical Engineers Electrical Design Engineers Power Systems Engineers Relevant experience could come from power generation, renewable energy, utilities, EPC, industrial engineering, electrical consultancy or major infrastructure projects.
Experience across any of the following would be particularly valuable: HV / LV electrical systems Power generation Grid integration SCADA and process control Renewable energy BESS / energy storage Electrical commissioning Industrial electrical systems Youll ideally hold a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
Chartered Engineer status would be highly desirable, but candidates who are working towards Chartership will be strongly considered.
Not Chartered? If you can demonstrate exceptional electrical project experience and the ability to take projects through design, delivery and commissioning, we still want to hear from you.
You wont be micromanaged. Youll be trusted to manage your workload, make technical decisions, work with clients and stakeholders and take ownership of delivering your projects successfully.
