Are you a hands-on Site Services Engineer, Utilities Engineer or Facilities Engineer looking for a secure permanent role with an excellent shift pattern and strong benefits package? We are recruiting for a Site Services Engineer to join the engineering team at an established mill in Navenby, south of Lincoln. This is a varied engineering role focused on maintaining the essential utilities, infrastructure and site services that keep the mill operating safely, efficiently and reliably. This is not a food production or kill factory environment.

The Shift Pattern

  • You will work: 4 days on, 4 days off DAYS 12-hour shifts
  • Average of approximately 42 hours per week
  • Regular four-day breaks built into your working pattern

The Role

As Site Services Engineer, you will help maintain the essential engineering systems and utilities that support the day-to-day operation of the mill. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planned preventative maintenance
  • Reactive maintenance and fault finding
  • Maintaining site utilities and infrastructure
  • Working with pumps, motors and mechanical equipment
  • Compressed air systems
  • Water systems
  • Heating and ventilation
  • Pipework and mechanical services
  • Monitoring plant and utility performance
  • Identifying faults and carrying out practical repairs
  • Supporting engineering improvement projects
  • Working with contractors where required
  • Ensuring all engineering work is completed safely and effectively

Engineers with transferable experience from the Armed Forces are also encouraged to apply.
