Are you a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for a well-paid permanent engineering role on DAYS ONLY? This is a genuine NO NIGHTS opportunity. We are recruiting for two Multi-Skilled Engineers to join an expanding Mill Engineering team at an established feed mill in Navenby, south of Lincoln. The engineering team is being expanded to provide operational support seven days per week, creating two new permanent opportunities for experienced engineers.
You will play a key role in maintaining and improving the performance, reliability and efficiency of the mills machinery and equipment, combining planned maintenance, reactive repairs and fault finding.
DAYS ONLY Shift Pattern:
- DAYS ONLY NO NIGHT SHIFTS
- 4 days on, 4 days off
- 6:00am - 6:00pm
- 12-hour shifts
- Average of approximately 42 hours per week
- Regular four-day breaks built into the rota

The Role:
As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will work as part of the Mill Engineering team to keep machinery and equipment safe, reliable and available for operation. Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance
- Responding to breakdowns and reactive maintenance requirements
- Diagnosing and resolving electrical and mechanical faults
- Maintaining and repairing mill machinery and associated equipment
- Identifying recurring faults and supporting root-cause improvements
- Minimising downtime and improving plant reliability
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
- Working closely with operational teams
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental standards
What We're Looking For:
You will ideally have:
- BTEC Level 4 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
- 18th Edition electrical qualification
- A recognised mechanical engineering qualification
- Experience of planned and reactive maintenance within an industrial environment
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
You should also be organised, practical, flexible and comfortable working both independently and as part of an engineering team. Experience within milling, manufacturing, processing, agriculture, bulk handling, FMCG or another industrial environment would be particularly relevant. We are also keen to hear from engineers with transferable experience from the Armed Forces.
