Are you an experienced Administrator looking to develop your career within financial services? We are recruiting for a Financial Services Administrator to join a professional and established financial planning business based in Grantham town centre. You will join a close-knit and hard-working team of seven, supporting more than 750 clients across the UK. This is a permanent opportunity offering strong potential for progression and long-term development.

This role would suit a highly organised, tech-savvy and accurate administrator with experience in financial services or another professional, regulated or process-driven environment. Applications are welcomed from candidates with backgrounds in:

The role

As Financial Services Administrator, you will support the Managing Director, Partners and Financial Advisers with the day-to-day administration of the business. You will help ensure client information is accurate, appointments are arranged efficiently and advisers have everything they need ahead of client meetings. This is an advanced administration position rather than an IT support role. It requires excellent attention to detail, confidence using systems and the ability to manage sensitive client information professionally.

Key responsibilities

Your duties will include:

  • Preparing information and documentation for financial adviser client meetings
  • Booking client appointments by telephone, email and Calendly
  • Managing adviser diaries and coordinating appointments
  • Entering client, meeting and appointment information accurately onto internal systems
  • Maintaining complete and up-to-date client records
  • Supporting general office administration and team coordination
  • Handling confidential client information professionally
  • Supporting regulated financial administration processes
  • Communicating with clients in a professional and helpful manner
  • Ensuring administrative tasks are completed accurately and on time

About you

The successful Financial Services Administrator will ideally have:

  • Previous experience in a professional, regulated or process-driven office environment
  • Financial services administration experience, although this is not essential
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Strong literacy, numeracy and data-entry skills
  • Confidence using Microsoft Word, Excel and office-based systems
  • Strong organisation and time-management skills
  • A professional and presentable approach
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to manage confidential information responsibly
  • A motivated, adaptable and team-focused attitude

No specific qualifications are required, although financial services, business administration or other relevant qualifications would be beneficial.

Location

The role is based in Grantham town centre and is commutable from: Sleaford, Newark-on-Trent, Stamford, Bourne, Melton Mowbray, Bottesford, Colsterworth, Oakham and surrounding areas.
