RecruitME is recruiting for a Technical Administrator / Financial Planning Administrator / Office Administrator to join a professional financial planning business based in Grantham town centre. This is a 12-month maternity cover contract with potential for progression. You will be joining a close-knit, hard-working team that supports 750+ clients nationwide.
This role would suit a tech-savvy, ambitious and highly accurate administrator with experience in a professional or regulated environment such as financial services, legal, accountancy, banking, insurance, wealth management, compliance or public sector administration. In this role, technical means advanced administration rather than IT support.
You will be involved in client data input, advisor diary management, booking meetings, preparing information for financial adviser client meetings and maintaining accurate client records.

The role
As Technical Administrator, you will support the Managing Director, partners and financial advisors with the day-to-day running of the financial planning administration function. You will be responsible for a mix of general office administration and more detailed technical administration tasks, ensuring client information is accurate, meetings are booked efficiently and advisors have the information they need ahead of client meetings.
Key responsibilities
- Preparing information for financial adviser client meetings
- Booking client meetings by telephone, email and Calendly
- Supporting advisor diary management and appointment coordination
- Entering client and meeting information accurately onto internal systems
- Maintaining accurate client records and client information
- Supporting general office administration and team coordination
- Handling client information professionally and accurately
- Supporting regulated administration processes where required
About you
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Experience in a professional, regulated or process-driven office environment
- Financial services administration experience would be highly beneficial
- Experience from legal, accountancy, banking, insurance, wealth management, compliance or public sector administration may also suit
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good literacy, numeracy and data input skills
- Confidence using systems, Microsoft Word and Excel
- A professional and presentable approach
- Strong organisation and communication skills
- A motivated, adaptable and team-focused attitude
No specific qualifications are required, although relevant qualifications will be of interest.
