The Opportunity
We’re looking for a confident and motivated Employer Engagement & Key Account Manager to help grow employer partnerships, apprenticeships, and technical training opportunities across southern Lincolnshire. This is a home-based role, ideally suited to someone located around the Lincoln area. You’ll be responsible for building new employer relationships, attending exhibitions, networking events, and trade shows, and representing our client across the region. You’ll work with employers from Louth to Stamford, extending east to the coast and west to Newark-on-Trent, promoting apprenticeship solutions and engineering training programmes that help businesses grow their future talent.
Job Purpose
To drive employer engagement and business development activity by delivering a consultative, relationship-led approach that supports employers with their apprenticeship and training needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong employer relationships across southern Lincolnshire and the Lincoln region
- Deliver a consultative, relationship-driven sales experience to promote apprenticeships and engineering training services
- Identify new business opportunities and manage your own pipeline from lead generation to conversion
- Develop and deliver presentations and proposals to employers, industry groups, and stakeholders
- Attend exhibitions, networking events, and trade shows to represent the organisation and raise brand awareness
- Build long-term partnerships that support apprenticeship recruitment, training, and workforce development
- Gather and share market intelligence to inform future business strategy
- Support employer open events and engagement initiatives
- Maintain accurate records of activity within the CRM system
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in key account management, employer engagement, or business development
- Knowledge or interest in engineering, apprenticeships, or training provision
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, confident at all levels
- Self-motivated, commercially aware, and results-driven
- Comfortable working independently from home while collaborating as part of a wider team
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (essential)
- Ideally based within southern Lincolnshire or the Lincoln area
