We are recruiting for a Process Engineer to join a growing manufacturing business in Sleaford. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being close to production, solving real manufacturing problems, improving processes and helping the shopfloor run more efficiently.
You will be working in an advanced manufacturing environment where quality, process control, continuous improvement and first-time-right production really matter. This role would suit a Process Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Production Engineer, CI Engineer, Process Improvement Engineer or Quality Engineer who wants a practical, varied role with genuine impact.

What you'll be doing
You will be responsible for improving and maintaining safe, reliable and efficient manufacturing processes. The role will include:
- Improving manufacturing processes to reduce waste, downtime and variation
- Supporting production teams with day-to-day process issues
- Using data to improve quality, efficiency and first-time-right performance
- Creating and maintaining work instructions and process documentation
- Supporting RCA, FMEA, SPC and corrective action activity
- Helping reduce scrap, non-conformance and repeat process problems
- Supporting ISO quality standards
- Training and coaching operators and technicians on process standards
- Supporting New Product Introduction into production
- Getting involved in Lean and continuous improvement projects
- Supporting new equipment, automation, upgrades and commissioning activity
- Commissioning and equipment projects
You will also support process engineering activity around new production lines and capital equipment. This may include process requirements, validation plans, commissioning checks, installation verification, functional testing, performance validation, handover documentation and operator / maintenance team training.
What we're looking for
You will need experience in a Process Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Production Engineer, Continuous Improvement Engineer or similar manufacturing role. You should be comfortable working on the shopfloor, speaking with operators and technicians, looking at process issues properly and finding practical ways to improve performance.
