Are you an experienced HR Advisor or HR Generalist looking for a broad, hands-on role where you can genuinely influence people, culture, and performance? We are recruiting for a confident and proactive HR professional to join a busy operational business within the agriculture sector. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive HR team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where no two days are the same.
You will work closely with operational leaders across the business, supporting everything from employee relations and performance management through to engagement, absence management, organisational change, and continuous improvement initiatives. This is a highly visible role where your ability to build relationships, influence managers, and provide practical HR support will make a real difference.

The Role
As HR Advisor, you will provide day-to-day HR support across the Agriculture function, partnering closely with managers and teams on a wide range of people matters. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing practical HR support and guidance to managers
- Managing employee relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability, and investigations
- Coaching and supporting managers on people-related matters
- Supporting organisational change and workforce planning activity
- Helping drive engagement, wellbeing, and positive culture initiatives
- Supporting HR processes, compliance, and continuous improvement
- Building strong working relationships across operational teams
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience within a HR Advisor, HR Generalist, or similar role
- Strong employee relations experience
- Confident advising and influencing managers
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Well organised with the ability to manage a varied workload
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment
- Manufacturing, FMCG, food production, agriculture, logistics, or industrial experience would be highly advantageous
- Full UK driving licence essential
Working Hours
37.5 hours per week
Monday - Thursday: 08:45 - 17:00
Friday: 08:45 - 15:45
Location
This role is based near Anwick / Sleaford, with good access from: Lincoln, Newark, Grantham, Boston, Spalding.
