We are recruiting for a Site Services Engineer to join the engineering team at an established mill in Navenby, south of Lincoln. This is a varied engineering role focused on maintaining the essential utilities, infrastructure and site services that keep the mill operating safely, efficiently and reliably. This is not a food production or kill factory environment.
The Shift Pattern
- You will work: 4 days on, 4 days off DAYS 12-hour shifts
- Average of approximately 42 hours per week
- Regular four-day breaks built into your working pattern

The Role
As Site Services Engineer, you will help maintain the essential engineering systems and utilities that support the day-to-day operation of the mill. Your responsibilities will include:
- Planned preventative maintenance
- Reactive maintenance and fault finding
- Maintaining site utilities and infrastructure
- Working with pumps, motors and mechanical equipment
- Compressed air systems
- Water systems
- Heating and ventilation
- Pipework and mechanical services
- Monitoring plant and utility performance
- Identifying faults and carrying out practical repairs
- Supporting engineering improvement projects
- Working with contractors where required
- Ensuring all engineering work is completed safely and effectively
