We are recruiting for an immediately available Temporary Project Administrator / Document Control Support Assistant to join a busy engineering and project delivery team in Stamford. This is an excellent temporary opportunity for someone with strong administration, project support or office coordination experience who can quickly support a fast-paced technical environment. You do not need to be an experienced Document Controller. This role would suit a highly organised Administrator, Project Assistant, Project Administrator, Technical Administrator or Office Administrator with excellent attention to detail, strong Microsoft Office skills and the ability to manage documents, records and project information accurately.

The Role

  • Support project, engineering and commercial teams with document control and general project administration.
  • Duties will include:
    • Uploading, saving and maintaining project documents and records
    • Updating document registers, trackers and internal systems
    • Checking documents for accuracy, formatting and completeness
    • Supporting document control processes across live engineering projects
    • Issuing documents to internal teams, clients and suppliers
    • Maintaining filing structures, version control and project records
    • Chasing information, approvals and document updates
    • Supporting project managers, engineers and internal teams with administration
    • Preparing, formatting and organising project documentation
    • Providing general office and project administration support

The Candidate

We are keen to hear from candidates with experience in roles such as Administrator, Project Administrator, Project Assistant, Document Control Assistant, Technical Administrator, Engineering Administrator, Operations Administrator or Office Administrator. You will ideally have:

  • Immediate or short-notice availability
  • Strong administration and organisational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good Microsoft Office skills, especially Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Confidence handling documents, records and data
  • The ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
  • A proactive, professional and reliable approach
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience in engineering, manufacturing, construction, energy, oil and gas, industrial services or project environments would be beneficial
