This is a permanent day-shift position offering an excellent overall package from day one:
- £35,000 £40,000 salary depending on experience circa £20.50 per hour
- 2 x annual bonuses
- Overtime paid at time and a half circa £30.75 per hour

Working Hours
Monday Thursday: 7:30am 4:00pm
Friday: 7:30am 1:00pm
This is currently a day-shift role, with some overtime available depending on workload.
The Opportunity
Were looking for a skilled welder/fabricator with proven experience producing work to demanding engineering and quality standards.
Class 1 welding experience is essential, while previous experience producing welds subject to X-ray / radiographic inspection would be highly advantageous.
Youll work on high-quality engineered products and fabricated assemblies used across major industrial and international projects.
The Role
Youll be responsible for:
- Class 1 welding and fabrication to engineering drawings and specifications
- Producing high-quality welded assemblies and fabricated components
- Preparing, fitting and welding materials accurately
- Working to approved welding procedures and quality standards
- Maintaining consistently high weld quality
- Working on components where weld integrity and traceability are critical
- Supporting fabrication, plating and wider manufacturing activities
- Maintaining excellent health, safety and housekeeping standards
What Were Looking For
Youll ideally have:
- Proven experience as a Class 1 Welder / Fabricator
- Strong MIG / MAG welding and fabrication experience
- Experience working accurately from engineering drawings
- Experience producing welds to demanding quality standards
- X-ray / radiographic weld inspection experience or exposure would be a major advantage
- Experience within heavy engineering, pressure equipment, oil & gas, energy, combustion, process equipment or similar manufacturing environments
- A strong focus on quality, accuracy and safety
