RecruitME is supporting the hire of an Applications Engineer Power Burners for a permanent site-based role in Stamford. This position would suit an engineer who enjoys the technical and commercial side of engineering from reviewing enquiries and sizing equipment through to costing, quotations and customer support.
You will be joining a specialist engineering team supporting projects across sectors such as power generation, oil & gas, petrochemical and industrial processing.
- Handing over secured orders clearly to the projects team
- Supporting projects through the delivery lifecycle
- Experience as an Applications Engineer, Proposals Engineer, Sales Engineer, Mechanical Engineer or similar
- Strong mechanical engineering background
- Experience in an engineering, manufacturing, industrial or process environment
- Commercial awareness and good problem-solving ability
- Full UK driving licence
- AutoCAD experience
- Experience in oil & gas, power generation, petrochemical or industrial combustion environments
- Background in technical sales, applications engineering or proposal support
