Are you an experienced quality professional with an aerospace / defence / marine / motorsport background looking for a great new opportunity with a highly successful international aerospace business? We are working exclusively with a fantastic engineering company going through a period of sustained growth and investment. They are now looking for an experienced QA / Quality Manager due to this increasing demand.
It is an exciting time to join this success story, a business working with some of the largest aerospace, marine and defence companies. The QA / Quality Manager will facilitate the introduction of continuous improvement methodologies, working with production teams to analyse and improve current processes and procedures through the application of continuous improvement methodologies. You will be developing and maintaining measures of the success of changes implemented, engaging the workforce at all levels to gain commitment and understanding of business changes.
The Quality Manager will implement standardised working methods to reduce process variability and ensure high quality process control and support the development of staff to enable and encourage a culture of quality. A key part of this role is to assist the Supply Chain Team to resolve any potential technical or product quality issues through technical/process improvement at suppliers.
We are looking for a QA / Quality Manager with knowledge of statistical analysis, process capability and problem resolution tools (8D, 5 Why, 6 Sigma etc.) and techniques.
What we’re looking for:
- Quality System exposure to AS9100, NADCAP, SC21, BS EN 14001
- Comprehensive understanding of Engineering Drawings
- Metrology expert and preferably NDT / X-Ray proficient
- Lean Manufacturing Awareness
