Are you an experienced Quality Inspector Aerospace looking for a great new opportunity with a highly successful aerospace business who work on state of the art commercial aircraft, jets and fifth generation fighters? We are working exclusively with them to recruit an additional Quality Inspector due to this increasing demand in their aerospace sector. We are looking for candidates who are familiar with the receipt inspection of parts and materials from suppliers.
The Quality Inspector Aerospace will carry out dimensional and visual quality inspection of machined and fabricated aerospace components. You should have previous experience of dimensional checking within a precision engineering, aerospace or machine shop environment and be competent at checking using hand held measuring tools such as Verniers and Micrometres.
The Quality Inspector will visually inspect items for handling damage, machining errors and surface treatment condition and the inspection on all machined / fabricated components. Any CMM experience would be beneficial as would experience with FAIRs and familiarity with materials requirements specs.
