The Role: Multi-Skilled Engineer
You will be a core part of the site engineering function, responsible for keeping production running safely, efficiently and reliably. Working across planned and reactive maintenance, you will support a high-throughput manufacturing operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on conveyors, mixers, elevators, presses, coolers and packaging machinery
- Electrical fault-finding on motors, sensors, control panels and PLC-driven plant
- Mechanical maintenance including bearings, belts, gearboxes, fabrication and welding
- Rapid response to breakdowns in a live manufacturing environment
- Supporting continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
- Installation, commissioning and upgrade of new machinery
What We're Looking For:
- Recognised Mechanical or Electrical qualification (BTEC Level 4 / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
- Electrical qualification (17th Edition or similar preferred) with strong mechanical capability
- Experience within manufacturing, FMCG, food, feed, packaging or process plant
- Confident electrical and mechanical fault-finding ability
- A proactive, hands-on Maintenance Engineer
