We are recruiting for a hands-on Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join an established manufacturing operation near Lincoln. This role would suit an engineer with experience in feed mills, food production, poultry, FMCG, grain handling, agricultural processing, animal feed, recycling, industrial manufacturing or continuous process environments.
We are particularly interested in engineers who are genuinely multi-skilled (mechanical and electrical) and enjoy fault finding, preventative maintenance and keeping production moving.

The Role
As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you'll be responsible for:
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown repairs
- Electrical and mechanical fault finding across production and process equipment
- Maintaining conveyors, motors, drives, pumps, gearboxes and process machinery
- Supporting site reliability, uptime and continuous improvement
- Working on a range of systems including sensors, pneumatics, hydraulics and control systems
- Supporting engineering standards, site safety and operational performance
Depending on your background, you may have experience with equipment such as:
- Conveyors, augers, bucket elevators, pellet presses, grinders, bagging systems, motors, drives, pumps, gearboxes, pneumatic systems, steam systems, PLC-controlled equipment or production machinery.
Who we're looking for

- Animal feed / feed mill engineering
- Food manufacturing / food processing
- Poultry or agricultural processing
- FMCG manufacturing
- Industrial process plant
- Continuous manufacturing
- Materials handling / grain handling
- Recycling / waste processing
- Heavy industrial production
You will ideally have:
- A genuine multi-skilled engineering background (mechanical & electrical)
- Experience working in a production, manufacturing or process environment
- Fault finding and breakdown experience on industrial machinery
- Level 3 NVQ / apprenticeship or equivalent (preferred)
- 17th or 18th Edition beneficial but not essential
- Practical engineering mindset with a proactive approach to maintenance
This is not a domestic or commercial installation role. We're looking for practical engineers who enjoy fault finding, problem solving and keeping industrial equipment running.
