Are you an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer from FMCG, food manufacturing, process manufacturing or heavy industrial production? We are recruiting for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join an established manufacturing operation in Lincolnshire.

This is not a commercial or domestic electrician role. This is a hands-on industrial maintenance engineering role within a busy manufacturing environment where reliability, fault finding and keeping production moving are critical.

Youll be working on conveyors, motors, drives, PLC-led equipment, gearboxes, control systems and production machinery within a fast-paced, continuous process environment. If you enjoy fault finding, breakdown response, preventative maintenance and improving equipment reliability this is the kind of role where your engineering skills will genuinely make an impact.

The Role

As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, youll be responsible for:

  • Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown maintenance
  • Electrical and mechanical fault finding across industrial production equipment
  • Working on PLCs, motors, drives/converters, conveyors, gearboxes and control systems
  • Diagnosing faults and minimising downtime
  • Supporting continuous improvement activity and engineering reliability
  • Maintaining engineering standards, safety and site performance

  • Electrical bias within a multi-skilled maintenance role
  • Level 3 NVQ / Apprenticeship or equivalent in Engineering or Electrical Maintenance
  • Experience fault finding on industrial machinery
  • Exposure to PLCs, drives, motors, conveyors or automated production equipment
  • 17th or 18th Edition (preferred, not essential)

This role is not suited to domestic or commercial electricians without industrial manufacturing maintenance experience.
