RecruitME are working in partnership with a successful, family-run joinery business based just outside of Grantham. Our client provides both bespoke and volume joinery services, covering everything from replacement windows, doors and conservatories through to high-quality purpose-made joinery projects. Due to continued growth, they are now looking for an experienced Workshop Joiner / Wood Machinist to join their expanding team.

The Role
As a Workshop Joiner / Wood Machinist, you will be responsible for manufacturing high-quality joinery products to internal standards. Duties will include:
- Interpreting and working from manufacturing drawings and joinery cutting lists
- Carrying out all aspects of purpose-made joinery with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Operating woodworking tools and machinery safely and effectively
- Manufacturing bespoke joinery including windows, doors, conservatories and related products
- Planning the most efficient method of construction while maintaining quality standards
- Working to project deadlines and managing your time effectively
- Maintaining good housekeeping within the workshop
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Supporting the wider team to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for an experienced joinery professional with a genuine passion for quality workmanship. You will need:
- Previous experience as a Bench Joiner, Workshop Joiner, Wood Machinist, Carpenter or Joiner
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in purpose-made joinery
- Experience working in a workshop environment
- Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings and cutting lists
- Confidence using woodworking tools and machinery
- Good problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
- A reliable, hard-working and team-focused approach
- A relevant joinery, carpentry or wood machining qualification would be beneficial
