Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer – Renewable Energy Are you an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for a varied role across three AD and biogas sites in East Yorkshire? Earn £45,000, working 42 hours per week, with a 1-in-4 call-out rota. RecruitME is recruiting for an established renewable energy business operating anaerobic digestion and biogas facilities. You’ll carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance, resolve breakdowns and improve plant reliability across three sites. What’s on offer * £45,000 salary * Permanent, full-time position * 42-hour working week * Typically 1 week in 4 call-out rota * Time off in lieu arrangements * Varied engineering work across three renewable energy sites * Opportunity to develop specialist AD and biogas experience What you’ll be doing * Deliver planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on industrial machinery and process equipment. * Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and respond to breakdowns. * Improve plant reliability through root cause analysis and continuous improvement. * Monitor plant performance using SCADA systems. * Maintain accurate maintenance records using CMMS. * Support equipment installations and engineering projects. * Manage critical spares and supervise contractors, including permit-to-work procedures. * Maintain safe working practices and follow health and safety procedures. What we’re looking for * NVQ Level 3 Extended Diploma in Engineering Maintenance, with an electrical or mechanical bias. * Experience as a Maintenance Engineer or Maintenance Technician. * Strong industrial maintenance, breakdown repair and fault-finding skills. * Experience within AD, biogas, wastewater treatment or similar industrial process environments. * Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical drawings. * Knowledge of PPM and maintenance management systems. * Full UK driving licence and flexibility to cover multiple sites and join the call-out rota.
