We’re recruiting a Field Service Engineer on behalf of a leading provider of innovative parking technology solutions. This is a field-based role supporting electronic and electro-mechanical systems across customer sites nationwide, ideal for a practical engineer who thrives in a mobile, customer-facing environment.
The Role
As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll provide front-line engineering support across UK installations, ensuring customer equipment is installed, commissioned, maintained, and supported to the highest standards. Reporting into the Technical Support Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering a responsive, best-in-class service to public and private sector clients.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide mobile engineering support to customer installations nationwide
- Diagnose and rectify electrical and electro-mechanical faults in the field
- Carry out commissioning of equipment and deliver first-line customer training
- Respond to faults and incidents in line with agreed Service Level Agreements
- Complete all required documentation and system updates accurately
- Liaise directly with customers, offering clear technical advice and support
- Work closely with the Technical Support Manager to maintain service standards
- Contribute to continuous improvement of products and service delivery
Ideal Candidate
- Proven electrical and mechanical engineering experience in a field-based role
- Strong fault-finding capability with a methodical, detail-focused approach
- Confident communicator with good written and verbal skills
- Customer-focused, trustworthy, and professional at all times
- Self-motivated, organised, and comfortable working independently
- PC literate, including Microsoft Office
- Full UK driving licence (maximum 6 points)
- Willingness to travel UK-wide and attend Doncaster HQ for training as required
