The Opportunity
As Employer Engagement & Key Account Manager, you will take the lead in growing and managing employer partnerships across southern Lincolnshire and the Lincoln region. You will represent the organisation at networking events, trade shows, and exhibitions, engaging with engineering and manufacturing businesses to promote apprenticeships and technical training programmes that help them develop their future talent.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with employers across southern Lincolnshire and Lincoln
- Deliver a consultative, relationship‐driven approach to promote apprenticeships and training solutions
- Identify and convert new business opportunities, managing your own pipeline
- Present proposals to employers, industry partners, and stakeholders
- Attend employer events and represent the organisation professionally
- Support apprenticeship recruitment and workforce development initiatives
- Gather market intelligence to inform future business strategy
- Maintain accurate CRM records of employer engagement activity
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in key account management, employer engagement, or business development
- Knowledge or strong interest in engineering, training, or apprenticeships
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, confident dealing with all levels of business
- Self‐motivated, commercially aware, and results‐driven
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a wider team
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (essential)
- Ideally based within southern Lincolnshire or the Lincoln area
