Our well-respected renewable energy client is seeking an experienced Electrical Multi-Skilled Engineer to join a modern anaerobic digestion (AD) facility operating within a fast-paced industrial process environment. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys hands-on fault-finding, plant optimisation, and working with complex electrical and mechanical systems, while contributing to sustainable energy production.
You will work across a technically varied site incorporating electrical, mechanical, process and SCADA-controlled equipment, with genuine autonomy and responsibility.
Salary & Package
- £45,000 starting salary
- £47,500 after successful probation
- Monday-Friday working (42 hours per week)
- 1 in 4 call-out rota (with TOIL)

The Role
As an Electrical Multi-Skilled Engineer, you will be a key part of a small on-site engineering team, trusted to maintain, diagnose, and improve plant performance. Key responsibilities include:
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance
- Electrical and mechanical fault-finding and diagnostics
- SCADA monitoring and performance data checks
- Breakdown response and safe system recovery
- Working from drawings, schematics and engineering documentation
- Managing spares, stock and supplier communication
- Supervising contractors and operating permit-to-work systems
- Supporting plant upgrades, projects and continuous improvement initiatives
You will have real ownership of systems and play a hands-on role in keeping the plant operating safely and efficiently.
What We're Looking For:
- Level 3 Engineering Qualification (Electrical)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Minimum 12 months experience in a relevant engineering role
- Strong electrical bias with good mechanical understanding
- Experience within industrial or process environments
- Ability to read electrical drawings, schematics and manuals
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving capability
