The predicted salary is between 34000 - 46000 £ per year.

Location: Field-based (UK-wide travel may be required)

Salary: £42.5k base - £54,000 OTE - with company vehicle, door to door pay, on call allowance, overtime available and an unrivalled range of benefits.

As a Dual Fuel Engineer, you’ll be responsible for installing and maintaining smart gas and electric meters in homes and businesses. This is more than just an installation role – you’ll be mentoring junior engineers, championing best practice, and helping to create a safer, smarter future for energy. Our client actively supports and encourages professional development including internal and external accredited courses, upskilling, study support and E-Learning and internal promotion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and maintain smart gas and electric meters
  • Carry out communication testing on metering and logger devices
  • Manage your van stock and equipment to company standards
  • Work safely and in compliance with all procedures and HSE regulations
  • Support junior engineers with best practice and technical excellence

What We’re Looking For:

  • CMA1/CCN1, REGT1, MET1 and MET2 certifications
  • Level 2 Diploma in Smart Metering (Dual Fuel/Power) or proof of electrical competence
  • Previous experience in Dual Fuel Smart Metering
  • A full, clean UK driving licence
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Technical confidence and a proactive attitude
