The Role - Painting Contracts Supervisor

You’ll take ownership of live painting contracts, supervising direct labour and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to specification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervising painting & decorating works across multiple sites
  • Managing direct labour and subcontractors
  • Monitoring programme, productivity and quality standards
  • Ensuring full Health & Safety compliance (SMSTS level)
  • Conducting toolbox talks and site briefings
  • Liaising with clients, tenants and stakeholders
  • Managing materials and resource allocation
  • Resolving site issues quickly and professionally

What we’re looking for

  • 10+ years painting & decorating trade experience
  • 5+ years supervising teams on live contracts
  • Experience within social housing / refurbishment / planned works
  • SMSTS (essential)
  • NVQ Level 2 in Painting & Decorating
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills
  • Confident managing site documentation and reporting
  • Full UK Driving Licence
