The Role - Painting Contracts Supervisor
You’ll take ownership of live painting contracts, supervising direct labour and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to specification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising painting & decorating works across multiple sites
- Managing direct labour and subcontractors
- Monitoring programme, productivity and quality standards
- Ensuring full Health & Safety compliance (SMSTS level)
- Conducting toolbox talks and site briefings
- Liaising with clients, tenants and stakeholders
- Managing materials and resource allocation
- Resolving site issues quickly and professionally
What we’re looking for
- 10+ years painting & decorating trade experience
- 5+ years supervising teams on live contracts
- Experience within social housing / refurbishment / planned works
- SMSTS (essential)
- NVQ Level 2 in Painting & Decorating
- Strong organisational and leadership skills
- Confident managing site documentation and reporting
- Full UK Driving Licence
