The Role

As Contracts Manager, you'll oversee multiple planned works and refurbishment contracts across Yorkshire, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to a high standard. You'll manage site teams, supervisors and subcontractors while maintaining strong communication with clients and internal stakeholders. This is a hands-on leadership role where visibility, organisation and proactive problem-solving are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple planned works / refurbishment contracts from mobilisation through to completion
  • Lead Site Supervisors and operational teams across live sites
  • Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to agreed quality standards
  • Drive productivity, programme delivery and commercial performance
  • Build strong relationships with clients and residents
  • Monitor progress, costs and resource allocation
  • Support recruitment, training and development of site teams
  • Maintain compliance with health & safety and environmental standards
  • Attend client meetings and provide regular project updates
  • Promote a positive culture across all operational teams

  • Full UK Driving Licence

Qualifications

  • SMSTS
  • CSCS Card
  • NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent trade qualification
  • Minimum 5 years trade / construction experience
