A well-established property services contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team delivering social housing planned maintenance, refurbishment and retrofit programmes across Warrington and the surrounding region. This is a stable, long-term opportunity working within secured housing frameworks, managing the commercial delivery of multiple planned works contracts.

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take responsibility for the commercial management of social housing refurbishment and planned maintenance projects. Typical responsibilities include:

  • Managing CVRs, cost control, forecasting and WIP
  • Preparing valuations, variations and final accounts
  • Managing subcontract procurement and payments
  • Supporting tender pricing and commercial strategy
  • Working closely with operational teams and clients
  • Ensuring projects meet commercial targets and KPI performance
  • Mentoring and supporting Trainee Quantity Surveyors

This role combines office, client and site-based work, ensuring accurate commercial reporting and strong contract delivery.

What We're Looking For

To be successful as a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will have:

  • BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying / Commercial Management
  • Minimum 5 years Quantity Surveyor experience
  • Experience within social housing, planned maintenance or refurbishment
  • Strong knowledge of CVRs, valuations and cost reporting
  • Experience managing multiple workstreams or contracts
  • Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of JCT or NEC contracts
  • Excellent communication and leadership ability
