This is a high-profile Senior Quantity Surveyor / commercial leadership position with real visibility across the business and full ownership of a key portfolio across refurbishment and retrofit contracts. A leading UK property services contractor is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to take commercial control of a high-value social housing portfolio across Cheshire and the surrounding region. You will be a visible senior presence across multiple live contracts, working closely with operational leaders, clients and your own commercial team to drive performance, protect margin and maintain high standards across the region.

  • Leading the commercial delivery of multiple planned works and refurbishment contracts
  • Managing CVRs, WIP, valuations, forecasting, cost control and risk
  • Overseeing subcontract procurement, payments and tender reviews
  • Mentoring and developing junior commercial staff
  • Working closely with operational teams and client representatives
  • Driving strong commercial governance and KPI performance across the region

  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management
  • Strong experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor
  • Background in social housing, planned maintenance, refurbishment or retrofit
