Are you an experienced Operations Manager or Senior Shift Leader? We're recruiting a senior Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day performance of a complex industrial facility, with responsibility for plant availability, safety, people leadership and operational improvement. The Role You'll be responsible for: Leading, developing and mentoring the operations team. Driving plant availability, reliability and efficiency. Working closely with engineering and maintenance teams. Managing operational KPIs, budgets and performance. Overseeing permit-to-work, risk assessments and safe systems of work. Supporting outages, shutdowns, breakdowns and improvement projects. Ensuring health, safety and environmental compliance. Identifying opportunities to reduce downtime and improve performance. About You We're interested in candidates from: Energy from Waste Power Generation Biomass Utilities Chemical / Petrochemical Heavy Process Manufacturing Other continuous process environments You'll need strong operational leadership experience, good plant knowledge and experience working within a safety-critical environment. Experience with steam systems, high-pressure boilers, turbines or thermal process plant would be particularly relevant. An engineering or technical qualification is preferred, with NEBOSH or IOSH advantageous.
