We are recruiting for an Electrically Biased Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a busy manufacturing site near Lincoln. This is a hands-on role covering electrical fault finding, planned maintenance, reactive breakdowns and continuous improvement across production machinery and site equipment.

This role would suit an engineer with a strong electrical maintenance background, supported by good mechanical knowledge, who has worked in manufacturing, FMCG, food, feed, packaging, process or production environments.

The Role

As an Electrically Biased Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you'll support the engineering team with planned preventative maintenance, reactive breakdown support and improvement work across a live production site. You'll be responsible for diagnosing and resolving electrical faults across production machinery, control systems, motors, sensors, drives and associated site equipment, while also supporting mechanical maintenance where required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out planned electrical maintenance across production machinery and site equipment
  • Respond to electrical and mechanical breakdowns
  • Diagnose faults across motors, sensors, drives, control panels and production equipment
  • Support planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs
  • Assist with mechanical maintenance tasks where required
  • Work closely with production teams to reduce downtime
  • Support continuous improvement and reliability projects
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and to high engineering standards
What We're Looking For
  • Experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, Shift Engineer or Maintenance Technician
  • Strong electrical maintenance and fault-finding background
  • 18th Edition electrical qualification
  • Electrical Engineering qualification, ideally BTEC Level 4 or equivalent
  • Good mechanical maintenance capability
  • Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, food, feed, packaging, process or production environments
  • Confident working on production machinery and site equipment
  • Proactive, reliable and team-focused approach
