Want to take full ownership of electrical projects from concept through design, delivery and commissioning? We are recruiting for an Electrical Project Engineer to join a growing engineering and energy business working across power generation, renewable energy, HV/LV systems and process control. We are equally interested in ambitious Electrical Project Engineers with strong technical foundations and solid project experience who are ready to step up.
You will be given the tools and support to develop, including the opportunity to progress towards Chartered Engineer status, but you will also be trusted to work autonomously, take ownership and drive your projects forward.
A Genuine Cradle-to-Grave Engineering Role
You will be involved throughout the complete project lifecycle, from initial feasibility and technical assessment through to:
- Electrical design and engineering
- HV and LV systems
- Project development
- Grid-connected and power generation projects
- Process control and SCADA
- Project delivery and technical oversight
- Site-based engineering
- Testing and commissioning
- Troubleshooting and optimisation
- Operational handover
- Client, supplier and stakeholder engagement
This is not a narrow desk-based design position. You will have the opportunity to see projects through from early concept to successful operation and take genuine ownership along the way.

- Anaerobic Digestion / AD
- Battery Energy Storage / BESS
- Energy Storage

What We Are Looking For
We would like to hear from experienced:
- Electrical Project Engineers
- Senior Electrical Engineers
- Electrical Design Engineers
- Power Systems Engineers
Relevant experience could come from power generation, renewable energy, utilities, EPC, industrial engineering, electrical consultancy or major infrastructure projects.
Experience across any of the following would be particularly valuable:
- HV / LV electrical systems
- Power generation
- Grid integration
- SCADA and process control
- Renewable energy
- BESS / energy storage
- Electrical commissioning
- Industrial electrical systems
You will ideally hold a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. Chartered Engineer status would be highly desirable, but candidates who are working towards Chartership will be strongly considered.
