Maintain accurate maintenance records, complete technical reports and identify opportunities to improve plant reliability and equipment performance. NVQ Level 3, BTEC ONC/HNC or an equivalent recognised qualification in electrical engineering. Proven industrial electrical maintenance, fault-finding and repair experience. Working knowledge of BS 7671 / 18th Edition Wiring Regulations. Knowledge and practical experience of operating high-voltage switchgear. Ability to interpret electrical drawings, diagnose faults and work safely with industrial electrical equipment. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly across the region. Desirable experience: Generator and alternator maintenance, HV switching procedures, electrical isolation, contractor coordination or electrical maintenance across multiple industrial sites.
