You'll have the time and continuity to deliver meaningful, person-centred care, not just process-driven assessments. \n This role is 4 days per week, enabling you to balance your work and home life perfectly. \n With excellent back-office support, you can focus on clinical quality rather than admin burden, all within an environment that prioritises support, collaboration, and professional respect. \n This is a permanent role based in Southampton, with some travel to client sites. \n The opportunity \n We're looking for an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join a well-established, clinically led Occupational Health service based at our Southampton Head Office clinic. \n This role would suit a confident, senior-level OHA who enjoys autonomy, values high clinical standards, and is comfortable supporting and guiding others within the team. You'll work within a supportive, professional environment with strong clinical governance and access to experienced colleagues. \n You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality Occupational Health services while contributing to service development and maintaining excellent standards of patient care. \n The role \n \n Deliver management referrals , including assessment, reporting, and documentation \n Undertake health surveillance, statutory medicals, and health screening \n Maintain accurate clinical records in line with the NMC Code \n Escalate complex cases to Occupational Health Physicians when required \n Ensure high standards of clinical governance, infection control, and safety \n Support and oversee the work of Occupational Health Technicians \n Work collaboratively with HR, Line Managers, and Health & Safety teams \n Contribute to service improvement, health promotion, and team support \n \n About you \n Essential \n \n Registered Adult Nurse (NMC) \n Specialist qualification in Occupational Health \n Minimum 2 years' post-registration nursing experience \n Confident working autonomously within professional boundaries \n \n You'll also bring \n \n Strong communication and IT skills \n A professional, approachable, and patient-focused style \n The ability to support colleagues and contribute positively to team culture \n \n Benefits \n \n 25 days holiday + bank holidays \n Company pension scheme \n Private medical insurance (after 6 months) \n Death in service (4 x salary) \n Free parking \n Birthday day off \n Option to buy extra annual leave \n Long service awards \n Volunteering day \n Sick pay \n Employee Assistance Programme \n Eye Care \n Flu vaccination scheme \n \n \n JBRP1_UKTJ
