We are looking for a Tool Room Machinist.
Key responsibilities:
- Operate and set up machines such as milling machines, centre lathes, saws and drills
- Read and interpret engineering drawings to understand specifications
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required standards
- Maintain equipment by cleaning and performing regular maintenance
- Collaborate with engineers and production team to improve processes
- Ensuring that H&S are maintained throughout, following procedure and safety at work
Skills & Qualifications:
- Ability to use precision measuring equipment (e.g. callipers) to measure material, parts, or products accurately and consistently
- Ability to use measuring jigs/tools (e.g. micrometers) to read precise measurements
