Ideal Recruit is currently looking for experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for a well-established client based in Bedford. This is a full time opportunity with guaranteed shifts and consistent work.
Job Details
- Nationwide store deliveries across the UK.
- Average of 34 drops per shift (palletised goods loading and unloading required).
- Experience with refrigerated units preferred.
Shift Patterns
- PERMANENT OR AGENCY – 4 ON, 4 OFF TRAMPING (Start Window between 01:00-02:00 OR 11:00-12:00)
- PERMANENT OR AGENCY – Sun-Thu, Tue-Sat or Thu/Fri-Mon (2 hour start window between 01:00-18:00)
Pay
- Permanent Pay Rates:
- Monday-Friday £**ph
- Weekend £**ph
- Plus £** tax-free meal allowance per day
- £** night-out allowance
- Agency Pay Rates:
- Monday to Friday: £**ph (or £** inc holiday)
- Saturday and Sunday: £**ph (or £** inc holiday)
- £** night-out allowance
Requirements
- Assessment required before starting.
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
- Minimum 12 months of experience as a Class 1 driver.
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
- No more than 6 points on licence (minor endorsements only).
