We\'re looking for a Waste Management Instructor to take charge of waste services in a custodial setting — driving recycling rates, reducing plastic use, and helping deliver net zero targets.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate a team of prisoners delivering essential waste and recycling services
- Deliver WAMITAB qualifications and hands-on skills for a growing green industry
- Manage operations, stock, and safety across the waste estate
- Champion environmental performance and rehabilitation through purposeful work
Requirements:
- Experience in waste, recycling, or environmental services
- Strong leadership, organisation, and compliance skills
- A passion for sustainability and creating second chances
- Willingness to gain or already hold a WAMITAB qualification
