Recruited UK are working with a leading education provider to recruit an experienced Assistant Manager for a disengaged learner education setting. The Role
You will support the Education Manager with the day-to-day running of the education department, leading teaching staff, driving quality improvement, supporting curriculum delivery, and ensuring learners achieve positive outcomes. You will also deputise for the Education Manager when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and develop teaching and support staff
- Drive quality assurance and curriculum improvement
- Monitor learner progress, achievement, and attendance
- Support lesson observations, learning walks, and staff development
- Ensure compliance with Ofsted and Ministry of Justice standards
- Deliver teaching sessions when required
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements
- Level 5 Teaching Qualification
- Functional Skills English and Maths delivery experience
- Previous teaching and leadership experience
- Strong understanding of Ofsted EIF
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Passion for education and learner success
Desirable
- IQA qualification
- Learning and education or adult learning experience
