We are seeking an experienced Purchasing & Planning Manager to lead planning, purchasing, and scheduling within a fast-paced, advanced manufacturing environment. This is a key leadership role focused on driving performance, efficiency, and on-time delivery.
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per annum
Location: Lower Dicker, BN27 (on-site)
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team, driving performance and accountability
- Oversee production planning, purchasing, and scheduling activities
- Achieve and maintain 95% on-time delivery (customer and supplier)
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Sales
- Identify and implement process improvements to support growth
- Contribute to strategic decision-making with operational insight
Requirements
- 10+ years’ experience in purchasing, planning, and logistics (including 5+ years in leadership)
- Strong background in manufacturing (low volume, high complexity preferred)
- Proven track record in production planning and purchasing
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and manufacturing best practices
Desirable:
- Exposure to advanced manufacturing technologies
- Degree or equivalent experience

- Analytical with excellent problem-solving and planning skills
- Occasional travel to client sites required (expenses covered).
