An exciting opportunity to join an established and growing high-tech manufacturing business is seeking a Mechanical Assembly Technician to join its cleanroom team. This is a hands-on role focused on assembling precision UHV systems, offering the chance to work with advanced technology in a specialist environment.

Location: Lower Dicker, UK (On-site)

Essential Requirements:
- Experience in a manufacturing or engineering assembly environment
- Ability to read and follow engineering drawings and instructions
- Understanding of mechanical assembly and basic electrical work
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure
- Basic IT skills (MS Office)
Desirable:
- Experience in cleanroom or high-tech manufacturing environments
- Knowledge of UHV systems, electron or ion optics
- Experience in low-volume, high-spec product manufacturing
- Exposure to precision hand fitting, wiring, and testing processes
Qualifications:
- Level 3 Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- HNC/HND or degree in Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering (desirable)
