We have an amazing opportunity for an experienced Contract & Commercial Manager. As Contract & Commercial Manager, you will lead the end-to-end contract lifecycle, ensuring full compliance with contractual terms, legal requirements, and regulatory standards. You will play a key role in safeguarding commercial interests while enabling effective operational delivery.
Working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners, you will act as a trusted commercial advisor, supporting seamless contract performance and long-term relationship management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the drafting, review, interpretation, and negotiation of contracts, including SLAs, KPIs, and commercial schedules
- Ensure contracts are compliant with UK contract law, regulatory requirements, and government frameworks
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, suppliers, and key external stakeholders
- Partner with operational delivery teams to support effective and compliant contract execution
- Conduct regular performance reviews and produce clear, insightful management reports
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, efficiencies, and cost savings
- Proactively manage risk, resolve contractual issues or disputes, and support successful commercial outcomes
Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven experience in contract drafting, interpretation, and negotiation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
- Sound knowledge of UK contract law, compliance, and regulatory requirements
- Experience working on public sector or government contracts (highly desirable)
