Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) – Health & Social Care Salary: £31,000–£35,000 Location: Home-based, North Wales Contract: Full-time, Permanent Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am–4:30pm We have n exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) to support the delivery of high-quality Health & Social Care apprenticeship programmes across North Wales. The successful candidate will lead and support a team of Assessors, ensuring quality standards are consistently met, learner outcomes are maximised, and awarding organisation and inspection requirements are achieved. Key Responsibilities * Lead, coach and support a team of Assessors to deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment. * Carry out IQA sampling, verification and quality assurance activities. * Monitor assessor performance and implement improvement plans where required. * Ensure compliance with awarding organisation, apprenticeship and quality assurance requirements. * Support learner achievement, progression and positive learner experiences. * Prepare for and participate in External Quality Assurance (EQA) visits. * Promote safeguarding, equality, diversity, health and safety, and Welsh language and culture throughout delivery. Essential Requirements * Assessor and IQA qualifications. * Relevant occupational competence within Health & Social Care. * Experience of assessment, quality assurance and supporting assessor development. * Strong knowledge of apprenticeship frameworks, IQA processes and awarding organisation requirements. * Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle. Desirable * Experience leading or mentoring a team of Assessors or IQAs. * Experience coordinating EQA visits. * Experience supporting or participating in inspection activity.
