Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Quality Inspector to join a highly respected engineering and manufacturing business specialising in precision-engineered components and high-quality manufacturing processes. This role will involve carrying out detailed inspections, managing supplier quality issues, raising NCRs, supporting root cause investigations, and driving continuous improvement across supplier and production operations. You will be working within a technically advanced environment involving complex components, tight tolerances, engineering drawings, and specialist metrology equipment including CMM and Faro Arm devices.
Working Hours
- Full-time permanent position
- Flexible shifts within opening hours Monday to Thursday
- Early finish on Fridays
- No weekend work
Qualifications
- Degree, HNC, or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline
Essential Requirements
Candidates will only be considered if they meet all essential requirements below:
- Minimum 3 years' experience within a machine shop, manufacturing engineering, or precision engineering environment
- Experience working to ISO 9001:2015 standards
- Strong understanding of quality tools and methodologies including SPC and AQL
- Experience using CMM and/or Faro Arm inspection equipment
