Contract: Full-time, Monday to Thursday, Fridays half day
The Role: We are seeking an experienced Ground Worker who can instruct and mentor/train disengaged Learners to help them achieve a skills vocational certificate. We will train you to become a Tutor to deliver Streetworks/Groundwork qualifications up to Level 2 within HMP Highpoint. Working with small groups of prison-based learners, you will help develop their skills, knowledge and behaviours while supporting them to work towards long-term personal and career goals. This will support engaging courses that enable learners to achieve their full potential.
What Are We Looking For?
- Level 2 Streetworks/Groundwork qualification
- Strong work experience and vocational background with substantial Groundworks industry experience
- Experience delivering vocational training (Desirable not essential)
- Teaching or assessing qualification (desirable)
- Ability to use varied and engaging training methods
If you do not currently hold a teaching or assessing qualification, support can be provided to achieve this during your probationary period.
