Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 4:30pm

About the Role

We have a fantastic opportunity to join a leading education and training provider. We are looking for a passionate and motivated Job Coach to provide personalised support to participants on the Jobs Guarantee Programme. You will guide individuals through every stage of their employment journey from initial referral through to securing and sustaining meaningful work. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference by helping people overcome barriers, build confidence, develop employability skills, and achieve long-term employment outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support participants throughout all stages of the programme
  • Conduct inductions, vocational profiling, and initial assessments
  • Jobsearch and develop tailored Employment Action Plans (EAPs)
  • Deliver one-to-one employability coaching and employability support
  • Assist with CV writing, interview preparation, job searching, and workplace readiness
  • Coordinate interviews and liaise with employers
  • Maintain regular contact with participants during employment
  • Support individuals in overcoming workplace challenges
  • Monitor progress and record sustained employment outcomes
  • Work towards agreed performance and engagement targets

What We’re Looking For

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Experience supporting unemployed individuals or disadvantaged groups
  • IAG or coaching mentoring experience
  • Background in coaching, mentoring, or employability support
  • Experience working in a target-driven environment
  • Strong motivational and communication skills
  • Understanding of barriers to employment
  • Ability to manage a varied caseload effectively
  • Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
