We have an amazing opportunity for an Assistant Manager to work for one of the country's leading Educational Training Providers. You will support the Education Manager with effective management of the curriculum, ensuring the needs of learners and employers are met, including delivery of Functional Skills, Personal & Social Development, and work-based programmes.

Location: South West London (SW2)

Salary: From £35,000 plus £5000 LW

Candidates must have the following skills, experience and qualifications to be considered:

  • A relevant first degree and/or professional qualification, and a teaching qualification
  • Level 4 IQA
  • Level 5 Teaching qualification
  • Evidence of continuous professional development, together with the ability to develop and manage an achievement-focused team
  • A creative and flexible approach towards achieving objectives and deadlines
  • Persuasive and supportive leadership and staff management skills
  • The ability to identify and implement continuous improvements to the curriculum in line with the needs and demands of learners and employers
  • An innovative approach and proactive style together with highly developed communication skills and the natural ability to influence others
  • Successful experience of managing curriculum development and change, quality systems, processes and the performance of teaching staff in ways which have improved learner outcomes
