We are looking for Employability Specialists to work with clients, health professionals, service providers and employers to support people back into employment. As an Employment Specialist, you will be focused on making sure a person’s journey into employment, with associated improved social inclusion and well-being is as easy as possible. You will work with clients (managing a caseload) who have a range of needs and assist them in securing sustainable paid employment in line with their preferences. If you are a confident communicator who has worked in a customer facing or person-centred role and want to make a real difference to people across Hampshire, then we want to hear from you.

  • Be an excellent and confident communicator, with the ability to deal with a range of stakeholders
  • Have experience/understanding of working with people with health conditions/disabilities, substance misuse needs, or a similar client group within health, social services or the voluntary sector
  • Have experience of working with someone on a one-to-one basis
  • Have proven experience of meeting and exceeding outcomes and targets
  • Have experience of managing multiple tasks at any one time
