We are seeking a passionate Trainee Assessor to support apprenticeship learners working towards their Health & Social Care qualifications. Youll use your industry experience to guide, assess and motivate learners, helping them develop their skills and achieve their career goals.
This is a fantastic opportunity to move into an assessing and training career , with support available to develop your professional skills.
The Role No weekends or shifts! Monday to Friday only
9.00am to 4.30pm
Work from home and mobile in the community
Train to assess learners in the workplace against Health & Social Care qualifications.
Manage a caseload and plan regular learner visits and assessments.
Provide guidance, feedback and ongoing learner support.
Conduct regular progress reviews and set clear, achievable targets.
Maintain accurate learner records and Individual Learning Plans.
Support learners to successfully complete their apprenticeship within agreed timescales.
Work closely with employers and other stakeholders to ensure learners receive the right support.
You'll gain a assessors qualification paid for by the employer
About You Essential:
Occupational experience in Health & Social Care .
A minimum of Level 3 NVQ/QCF in Health & Social Care (Adults).
Full driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
Willingness to undertake a DBS check and EWC registration.
Desirable:
Previous training or assessing experience.
TAQA, CAVA, A1 Assessor Award or equivalent (or willing to work towards )
Welsh-speaking ability.
