We have an amazing opportunity fora Skills For Life Tutor. You willplan and deliver high-quality, personalised learning experiences for young people with complex additional learning needs and disabilities, which are aligned to their personal goals and aspirations, enabling them to fulfil their potential.

Candidates must have the following skills, experience, and qualifications to be considered:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent substantial experience in a teaching role
  • Recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, PCET or equivalent)
  • A minimum of two years of teaching experience within a specialist setting
  • Experience and understanding of trauma-informed practice
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to drive a minibus to enable a broad curriculum offer and enrichment experience for learners (preferably D1 category or willingness to work towards)

You will receive:

  • 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays. (Please note this will be pro rata for part-time roles)
  • NEST pension scheme with a 5% employer contribution
