Looking for a quality role where your expertise genuinely makes an impact? We're recruiting an experienced Quality Inspector to join a leading precision engineering manufacturer producing high-specification components for demanding industries. You'll work with advanced inspection technology, collaborate with suppliers, and play a key role in maintaining exceptional quality standards. What You'll Be Doing
- Inspect precision-engineered components using advanced metrology equipment
- Operate CMM and/or Faro Arm inspection systems
- Investigate non-conformances and raise NCRs
- Support root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
- Work closely with suppliers to resolve quality issues and improve performance
- Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications
- Help drive continuous improvement across manufacturing and supplier quality
What We're Looking For
- At least 3 years' experience within precision engineering, machining, or manufacturing
- Experience working to ISO 9001:2015 standards
- Strong knowledge of SPC, AQL, and quality inspection techniques
- Hands-on experience with CMM and/or Faro Arm equipment
- Excellent understanding of metrology equipment and engineering drawings
- Experience managing supplier quality and non-conformances
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Desirable:
- HNC/HND or Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
- Experience with supplier audits
- Knowledge of welding or fabrication
- Vacuum industry experience
