Essential Skills Tutor
Salary: £25,700 - £27,300/ DOE
Location: Cardiff, South Wales
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 4:30pm
The Role:
- Deliver Essential Skills Wales training in Literacy, Numeracy and Digital Literacy.
- Provide engaging workshops, classroom-based and one-to-one learning.
- Maintain accurate learner records, assessment documentation and evidence.
- Engage with learners and employers to promote achievement and progression.
- Assess learners within their workplace environments across a regional area.
- Work towards performance, achievement and quality targets.
What We're Looking For
- Experience delivering Essential Skills Wales qualifications.
- Experience within Work-Based Learning, Apprenticeships or vocational education.
- Knowledge of awarding body requirements, assessment and quality assurance.
- Recognised teaching, training or assessing qualification such as A1, TAQA, CAVA or equivalent desirable.
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
- Willingness to undergo a DBS check and EWC registration.
